Ronald Araujo included in Uruguay's World Cup squad
The centre back is injured and will continue his recovery in Qatar
Ronald Araujo is on Uruguay’s squad list for the World Cup in Qatar. The Barcelona defender, who on September 28 had surgery on a torn thigh muscle, will continue his recovery there, after an agreement between Barca and the Uruguayan federation was reached.
Araujo doesn’t have medical clearance yet but is on the 26 man squad list submitted by Diego Alonso.
If Uruguay get to the knock-out rounds then there is some chance of Araujo playing. Until then he will focus on recovering and making a good atmosphere with his team-mates.
