Zinedine Zidane: We do not have a plan B
The coach does not think Madrid deserved to lose to Espanyol
Zinedine Zidane spoke on BeIN Sports after Espanyol beat Real Madrid 1-0 thanks to Gerard Moreno's goal.
"We had a very good first half, with chances, and we did not find the goal. And then we let a goal in, in the last minute," said Zidane.
"It's a step back because the result didn't go our way, but I have nothing to reproach my players about, we had a good game, but in the end we didn't get the result.
"There is no Plan B," he said, in response to some saying he put out a reserve side. "It's a squad with 25 players and each game we have to put out a team, nothing more. And today it didn't go well. I think we did OK in the game, they didn't create a lot of chances against us, so I don't think the result is deserved - but that's football."
