Se queda. Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos cgave a press conference on Thursday to say that he will complete his contract with the club. He admitted that he had an offer from China but made it clear that he'd never planned to leave the club and would love to end his career at the Bernabeu.

"There's been a lot of speculation," he began. "I am a Madridsta and I want to retire here. The best thing is to leave behind everything that's happened to us and I hope that I can retire here on a high."

Ramos said he made the decision after a conversation with Florentino Perez on Wednesday to sort some things out. The Madrid president said in an interview earlier this week that Ramos had asked him to let him move to China for free, which Ramos said was not the case.

The defender that this was a financial issue: "We didn't speak about thagt for even one minute. It was about confidence and feeling wanted. There are two parts of my career, the fans and the president. If one day the fans don't want me, I will go. And I have a father-son relationship with the presi. Who's not fought with their father?"

On his offer from Asia, he confirmed: "The offer from China is on the table, I am not someone who will lie. But I have been loyal to Madridismo, to this shirt. I have never planned to leave, not for free or for a free."
