Official: Midfielder Toni Kroos extends Real Madrid contract until 2024

Madrid confirmed the German's contract renewal on Wednesday

Real Madrid have made official the renewal of Toni Kroos for one more season, until 2024, a player who has been key to the last decade of success at the club and who has shown that he is still at a good level at the age of 33.  

Madrid announced the news on Wednesday via a statement.

"Real Madrid C. F. and Toni Kroos have agreed a contract extension for the player, who remains tied to the club until 30 June 2024," Los Blancos confirmed.

"Toni Kroos joined Real Madrid in 2014 and is already our club's most-capped German player with 417 appearances.

"In his nine seasons as a Real Madrid player, he has won 20 titles: 4 Champions Leagues, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 3 La Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups."
