Madrid's Ancelotti: Our only thought is to beat Barcelona on Wednesday

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said his players are "100% ready" for the comeback attempt in the Copa del Rey semi-final clasico at Camp Nou against Barcelona, adding that it is their "only thought" after Sunday's 6-0 win over Real Valladolid. 

"We are 100% ready, we have no doubts. From now on we have only one thought, which is to win on Wednesday," he told a press conference at the Santiago Bernabeu after drubbing Valladolid.

"The final stretch of the season begins today, I've told the players. Last year we started it against Celta Vigo suffering a lot and this year we started it with a different feeling. It was a very good game today, although we didn't do well at the start, we suffered and they had chances. But we're leaving with a good feeling because we've returned to the attacking success we've almost always had. Today the strikers were effective and convincing. They made the game quite easy," he added.

Attacking well

Ancelotti praised the work of Rodrygo Goes, Vinícius, Marco Asensio and especially Karim Benzema, who scored a hat-trick: "The attacking four have fulfilled in all aspects, without the ball there is room for improvement but they have combined very well alternating movements and having a lot of mobility."

"Karim's game has to be highlighted because he has scored three goals in seven minutes and was very good. It means that the work he has done in the break has been very good," he said.
