Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic has joined Manchester City. The English club, who have won the treble this season, will pay a figure of up to 30 million euros: 25 million euros fixed and another five million euros in variables. He will wear the number 8 shirt and sign until 30 June 2027.

The Croatian, who spent four seasons at Real Madrid and won three Champions League titles, in addition to the one won with the London club two years ago, arrives to replace Ilkay Gündogan, now at Barça.

The former Inter and Dinamo Zagreb player is a very versatile player with a great ability to drive the ball forward. This season, despite Chelsea's sporting crisis, he has done well, and scored two goals and provided two assists.
