Coutinho's Copa

Coutinho is the most expensive player in the history of Barcelona, having joined the club for 120 million euros plus 40 million in variables in January from Liverpool.

The midfielder arrived at Camp Nou as the natural successor to Iniesta, who is leaving for China at the end of the season. The Brazilian also came to Barça with a dream, to win trophies. On Saturday he will have the chance to win his first piece of silverware, the Copa del Rey. And he will do so as a starter. Because despite the fact that he has little more than three months at the club, his quality has convinced Valverde. Logically, he was already a footballer with enormous talent and the characteristics which have made him fit perfectly in Barça's style. And in the dressing room.

Coutinho knows that he will be judged on his performances, even though his transfer fee will have a heavy influence on how people view him.
