Now this Barça is a team you can believe in

Barça under Xavi had left some doubts, despite the hope his arrival generated. More for results than football, but things hadn't gone smoothly on track. They were knocked out of the Champions League, Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey. 

The coach made some additions in January but could not beat Espanyol or Napoli. Mestalla came and it was a chance to change the dynamic. Barça did it. They won with football, efficiency and goals. They gave a great attacking image, refined their shooting and boosted their self esteem. It could change everything.

It was not an easy game, for the setting or the doubts, but the No 9 this team badly lacked was here at last. Someone who can open the can and help the team stay calm. Aubameyang. He started and showed his enormous quality to net twice. Having a top class striker can make the difference in places like this. 

It was a game to bring back the hope and faith in a team that is back in fourth. They play for survival in Europe on Thursday. Barça knew how to suffer too at Mestalla, unlike at Balaidos just before Xavi arrived. There is potential here. Something is being built.
