Tonight Barça will put another Liga title in their honours list. Number 25, to be precise. It's a Liga title which without any doubt will be very special for Andres Iniesta.
The Blaugrana captain, who is leaving the club after 22 years of magic and honesty, will win a 32nd trophy with Barça (a joint record alongside Messi) and will close out his Barça career in a brilliant way.
Iniesta, without a doubt, has been an exemplary player, on and off the pitch. And his stunning feats with the ball will be remembered for ever by Barça fans and members. He'll also be remembered for his personality, an example of humility for every player who wants to be a star.
With Iniesta, a generation of unrepeatable Spanish academy players formed in La Masia comes to an end. Victor Valdes, Carles Puyol, Xavi and Iniesta (and Messi) formed the heart of the team and won everything, making us enjoy football like never before. Without those players, the team will be left without reference points.
Barça will keep winning, of course. But things will never quite be the same.
