Calciomercato: Barça could offer Suarez and Busquets in exchange for Lautaro Martinez
Any move for Lautaro won't happen until after the Europa League final, but players could be included to bring down the cost
FC Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has caused a lot of uncertainty at the club after announcing his list of players he felt were 'non-transferable'. Absent from that list were Barça mainstays Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets. Now it appears one, or both, could be used to sweeten deals for other potential targets.
The main priority for this summer window appears to be the signing of Lautaro Martinez. That move is on hold until after Inter Milan face Sevilla in the Europa League final.
However, 'CalcioMercato' are claiming that Barcelona could offer Suarez and Busquets in exchange for Lautaro. It remains unknown as to whether one or both would accept a move to Italy at this stage of their career or whether they'd be content to play a more secondary role next season.
Yet until negotiations resume, Italian reports suggest every and all suggestions are on the table. Involving players in the deal would also drive down the cost, which certainly aids Barça.
