Barcelona's meeting in Monaco with Mino Raiola for Erling Haaland

The Norwegian forward is the hottest name on the transfer market this summer

Barcelona have put their cards on the table to try and sign Erling Haaland. It won’t be easy but the Catalans have made every offer and the offer is firm. It was presented to Mino Raiola a few days ago in am meeting in Monaco. It was the third time they negotiated with the agent and now it’s up to Haaland to decide.

In the final push for Haaland there are three teams, the expected three. Man City, then Real Madrid and finally Barcelona, who reacted quickly and put together a financial and sporting plan for him.

The decision will be made in March but Barcelona knew they had to keep pace with the other sides. It was De Telegraaf that revealed the recent meeting in Monaco between Barcelona, represented by Joan Laporta and Jordi Cruyff, and Raiola.

The first time they all met was in the summer, the second at the Golden Boy gala in Turin, and in Monaco they came with a firm proposal for Haaland and after studying the viability of the transfer.

Haaland has not accepted a proposal to renew from Dortmund and will join one of the big teams who want him this summer. City have given up on Harry Kane to sign him but he seems to prefer the Spanish league, while Real Madrid’s priority is Kylian Mbappe, and Haaland wants to be the leader wherever he goes. So with Barcelona, he might be able to do that…
