The left back's current deal expires at the end of June but he could perform a u-turn and sign a new contract there

PSG have a number of players who are out of contract at the end of June and the post-coronavirus world of football might cause them to rethink some of their decisions. With big money transfers likely to take a backseat until the economy bounces back, it makes sense to keep hold of players that were otherwise up for sale. One of those names is Layvin Kurzawa. After being linked with a move away, with Barça mentioned too, it now appears he could sign an extension to remain in Paris.

At the moment, discussions are taking place to extend his deal until the Champions League has concluded. Yet both sides are open, and willing, to add an extra season or two in order to secure his short-term future at the club.

Kurzawa was linked with Barça after Junior Firpo's initial performances suggested he wasn't quite ready to make the step up. Chelsea and Arsenal are said to have held talks with the player recently, as well fellow LaLiga side Atletico Madrid.
