Taty Castellanos shuts his social media accounts

Girona player Valentín Taty Castellanos has closed his personal Twitter and Instagram accounts after the match against FC Barcelona at Spotify Camp Nou. 

The Argentinian missed a very clear chance, was substituted and ended up crying in the dressing room.

The Girona forward had the clearest chance at the start of the second half in a one-on-one with Ter Stegen, but he sent his shot too wide across goal.

After the game, Míchel admitted that the player was still upset at not having converted that chance into a goal and being able to take the three points at the Camp Nou.

In fact, Michel had words of praise for the player from Mendoza at the end of the match: "He is a player who gives us a lot and he was crying in the dressing room right now. It hurts the strikers more to miss that chance than all the work he can do.

"He thinks he had a pass with Tsygankov and it was a two-on-one, but he has given us a lot all season and he will continue to give us a lot, I'm convinced of his level. Strikers are there to miss them and he's going to give us a lot of joy."
