Two goals from Toni Duggan and one from Mariona helped them beat Norwegian side LSK Kvinner 3-0 in the first leg of their quarterfinal tie ahead of the return leg next week.

Barça started on the front foot, maybe because they were buoyed by their win over Atletico Madrid at a full Wanda Metropolitano at the weekend. Or maybe because the Champions League is special and they want to reach the final. Or maybe because of the difference in quality on the night.

In any case, Lluis Cortes side made a fast start and quickly wrapped up the game. England international opened the scoring with a smart finish from close range following a cut back.

The home side continued to dominate and Duggan doubled Barça's advantage in the 24th minute when she connected with a cross. There was a third goal before halftime when Mariona converted from the penalty spot after Haavi handled Torrejon's shot.

There were no more goals in the second half, though, in front of 5,563 fans at the Mini, which was less than hopes for after Sunday's world record crowd in Madrid.

But while Barça didn't add to their tally, the didn't concede, either. That means an away goal next week could all but sentence the tie and book their place in the last four for just the second time in the club's history.
