Barcelona considering Manchester United's offer for striker Geyse Ferreira
The Brazilian was deemed not for sale earlier in the summer but a big offer has changed things
Manchester United are back in the race -- and stronger than ever -- for Geyse Ferreira. So much so that, according to SPORT, FC Barcelona are now evaluating the latest offer they have received.
Since losing Alessia Russo, their star striker last season who helped them reach the Champions League qualifiers, the English club have always had the Brazilian at the top of their list of priorities.
They can promise her a starring role -- at Barça she has taken turns in the starting line-up with Oshoala -- and good financial compensation.
F Barcelona initially considered her non-transferable -- her contract expires in June 2024 -- and, in fact, she turned down a couple of offers from the Red Devils earlier in the summer.
However, the latest offer is considerably higher, and the Catalan giants' management are looking favourably on it, although, for now, nothing has been finalised.
