Espanyol want to take Valencia midfielder Maksimovic on loan

Espanyol don't have money to invest this month
With Javi Fuego leaving the club, Espanyol are looking for a new midfielder. Various players have been looked at, including Valencia's Nemanja Maksimovic, a player who could be available on loan.
Espanyol have asked Los Che for the Serbian and are now waiting for a final decision. There are various other clubs interested, though, including Deportivo, Levante and Malaga.
Maksimovic became Espanyol's top target after an exhaustive search of the European market. The problem is that president Chen Yansheng is not ready to invest this month, which is why they're looking at a loan deal.
The Catalan club hope for news in the coming days. If they fail in their pursuit of Maksimovic, they won't have long to find a new central midfielder this month.
