Sassuolo's Boateng is a fan of both of the world's best players

Sassuolo forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has compared the two biggest stars on planet football, Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Boateng, in an interview with German media 'SPOX', revealed he's a fan of both players but sees Ronaldo as a "better example for kids."

"For young footballers, Ronaldo should be the best in the world because he's the best example to focus on," Boateng said, explaining that it's because the Portuguese international "trains to the full and has talent. He works like crazy."

However, even though he thinks that "for a player that's just starting, his mirror should be (Ronaldo) because he's perfect" the German-Ghanaian recognises that "the best is Leo Messi."

Comparing the yeo players, he added: "Cristiano is from this world. He's from here. The best is Messi. I don't see him as from this world. Cristiano dominates this world, but Messi is above everything.
