Bayern Munich is another club that has positioned themselves clearly against racism. Before playing Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, they came out wearing the message 'Red card to racism' on white shirts, and also with 'Black Lives Matter' on armbands.

With their shirts they showed they are in opposition to the despicable murder of George Floyd and disgusting American police violence and racist president Donald Trump.

The club launched their own message on Thursday, saying Bayern are "against hate, abuse and all forms of violence. Racism is the worst form of discrimination and doesn't have a place in our world. Football should provoke happiness, that's what Bayern backs, as well as values like tolerance and respect."
