Barça beat Sevilla 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a brilliant goal from Pedri

Barcelona beat Sevilla 1-0 on Sunday to move second in LaLiga and extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 13 games.

Meanwhile, they have now won six in a row in LaLiga, where they have not lost since Dec. 4 as the Xavineta gathers even more pace.

Coach Xavi Hernandez spoke after the game, which was one by a Pedri wonder goal in the 72nd minute:

The win: "I am a positive person, I believe in hard work, effort, sacrifice and working together. We're doing well, we're together, everyone runs, everyone presses. With this base, the results will come. We are in the best moment of the season. Today, we dominated a super team, the best in LaLiga defensively. We won 1-0 and it could have been more. Maybe we erred with our decision-making, we should have scored earlier. It was a six-pointer."

On Pedri: "A supreme player. When I say that, I mean there aren't many people that understand how we play like he does. And what a goal he scored. He makes the difference. It's spectacular watching him play -- and he's only 19. There are no comparisons."

Should Pedri shoot more? "I encourage him to shoot more. But he's a passer. He's thinking about the next pass, the final pass, the decisive pass. I was a little bit the same. He doesn't realise sometimes you have to try your luck, because he's got a good shot on him. And he scored a great goal today."

Celebration a message for Madrid? "We're not sending a message to anyone, just to ourselves. We won and we enjoyed it. I like winning. I think the team deserved it. The goal [celebration] was pure adrenaline because it was an important goal. As for LaLiga, as long as it's mathematically possible, we will keep fighting. We're going to try. It's unlikely that Madrid slip up so much, but we will give everything until the end."
