Three heavyweights in Barcelona's squad agree about football malaise

They all agree that the style of football being played is the issue - this is not the Barcelona they want to see

Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets, three of Barcelona's heavyweights in the dressing room, have given their opinions on what the problem at the club is, and they have similar view points. They all agree that the style of football being played is the issue - this is not the Barcelona they want to see.

Sergio Busquets was the first to speak, pitch-side after Barcelona were hammered 4-0 by PSG in Paris. "It's not a question of attitude but of football," he said. "They pressed us more and were better tactically. They had a plan and executed it how they wanted."

Later that night, Andres Iniesta spoke. "The word attitude I've never liked, and doesn't go with this team. It's a question of football, of being well placed so they can't overcome you... they overcome us playing football."

Finally Gerard Pique, who is not one of the captains but is one of the most important figures in the squad, joined in.

"Against Leganes it was not a problem of attitude, but we we won in the last minute and suffered. We have to be frank, to see that we are in a situation we do not like and playing football which can be improved upon."
