According to the English newspaper, Manchester United won't sell Pogba this summer despite the strong interest from Barcelona

The soap opera saga involving Paul Pogba, Manchester United and Barcelona is over. Despite 'The Sun' revealing that Pogba and Jose Mourinho had a conversation, which didn't go well, they've now stated that the French midfielder "won't leave Old Trafford".

"Manchester United won't sell Pogba despite the interest from Barça and the player's conflict with Mourinho." Ed Woodward, the executive vice president at the club, has confirmed that Pogba is one of the most important players, both on the sporting side as well as commercially. For this reason, United won't even consider selling him.

The French midfielder is the player Mourinho is trying to build his team around as the Portuguese coach looks to drag United back into the title race this season.

Pogba is interested in a move to Barcelona, and his agent Mino Raiola has expressed that wish to the club, but United are unwilling to sell one of their key assets.

The argument between Pogba and Mourinho, which concluded with the coach telling the player: "If he wants to leave, make him ask for it" has now seen the door closed on a possible departure. It appears the two will have to find a way to get along until January at the earliest.
