Ter Stegen: I hope Noah Darvich gets the time he needs

Noah Darvich, a 16-year-old German starlet, was signed as one of Barcelona's future prospects this summer. The German international, who is part of the Barça Atlètic squad, is expected to become an important player in the first team. He has already participated in several training sessions with Xavi's Barcelona and made his debut with the reserve team, although he came off the bench.

In the first team, he has had the chance to train alongside two compatriots, Ilkay Gündogan and Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who are helping him in these initial steps. Ter Stegen discussed Darvich's situation and compared it to that of Lamine, another extremely young player at just 16 years old. "He has already trained several times with professionals, so I briefly spoke with him. Just like with Lamine, I hope Noah gets the time he needs," Ter Stegen mentioned in an interview with SPOX.

So far, Darvich has appeared in two of the first three matches for the reserve team: 13 minutes against Logroñés and 5 minutes against Real Unión. However, he couldn't play in the last game against Gimnàstic as he was with the national team. During preseason, the German already showed glimpses of what he can bring to Rafa Marquez's B team squad.

Ter Stegen also commented on how he sees Lamine's early steps with the senior team. "His carefree attitude is good for us, and I hope he always maintains it," Ter Stegen said. According to the goalkeeper, Lamine has a lot of room for improvement physically. "He will need to work on his physical attributes, but he's only 16 years old. Off the field, Lamine is a calm guy. We should give him time to develop peacefully. He has a bright future ahead of him."

Lamine, the forward, is currently with the national team, where he scored his first goal with the senior team against Georgia. He scored for the national team before doing so for Barcelona, where he has become a starter on a couple of occasions. Similarly, Darvich is also with his national team, representing the German U18 squad, which is why he didn't participate in the last Barça Atlètic match.
