The two are at odds over the creation of a new European Super League

Javier Tebas, the president of LaLiga, has published on Twitter an image showing the financial amounts that Barcelona receive for television rights as part of a post where he personally addresses Joan Laporta, the president of the Catalan club.

The tug of war between Tebas and Laporta continues, with the controversy stemming from Barça's push, along with Real Madrid and Juventus, for a new European Super League.

Tebas, through a tweet, has published the revenue that Barça make from television rights compared to Premier League clubs after comments from Laporta on Thursday saying that it was becoming more and more difficult to compete with teams from England's top flight.

"Inform yourself before rantings," Tebas said in his message.

According to Tebas' data, Barça earn €160.1 million, behind Real Madrid, which receive €160.8m. The ranking of clubs that earn the most from television rights is led by English clubs: Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Man City are the European team that earn the most under the concept of television rights at €176.0m.

Tebas declared to Laporta that: "[Barcelona] are perfectly competitive. LaLiga earns less, but you make as much as the big Premier League teams."

Laporta was using the growing gap between the Premier League and LaLiga financially as an argument for a new Super League.
