With Todibo potentially joining the Italian side on loan, Barça could make a move for Milan's young captain
FC Barcelona might have asked about Alessio Romagnoli's situation during the conversations with Milan over a loan deal for Jean-Clair Todibo. According to 'Sky Sports', Romagnoli is on Barça's shortlist of options. The 24-year-old has plenty of top-flight experience and was named as club captain last summer.
Valverde already has youngster Araujo to call upon and is happy to retain Todibo if a loan move fails to materialise. Romagnoli is of interest not only because he's an established centre half but because he can also play at left-back. He's amassed over 160 matches for Milan and has been an ever-present this season, which is likely to impede any potential exit this month.
