Sergio Busquets: De Jong still needs to adapt
The Barca player says he's not tought about retiring from international duty
Barcelona midifelder Sergio Busquets played well for Spain against Romania and was asked about the competition for his place from Frenkie de Jong.
"Time puts each one in their place, in the end," Busquets told Teledeporte. "Frenkie still has to adapt to a different style, more positional than he had in his team, but with the quality he has he can do it brilliantly."
On the Faroe Island clash coming up, Busquets added: "For us it's no joke, they're not the strongest opponent in the group but they have all our respect and the team will go out to try to win from the start."
FUTURE
Busuqets said of his own future in the Spain team: "It's clear that I've reached an age, but in the end you go year by year, it will all depend on feelings, how I find myself, the confidence of the coach and the results."
