Rivaldo says Neymar "made a mistake" quitting Barcelona for PSG in 2017

Former Barcelona player Rivaldo said on Saturday that "Neymar never should have left the club" and that he "made a mistake" moving to Paris Saint-Germain, but he says there's still time for him to return to the Catalan giants. 

Rivaldo was speaking to the press after opening the newest Barcelona Academy in Santo Domingo, which is located at the Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (Unphu) university.

Asked who loses more, Neymar or Barça, if a deal isn't pushed through before Monday's deadline, Rivaldo responded "both of them." 

PSG's sporting director Leonardo has said "so far" there's no agreement but said the French club will sell if they get an offer which satisfies them.
