Following Manchester United's victory over Leicester, where he was named captain and scored, Pogba's message suggested he wanted to leave United this summer

The speculation surrounding Paul Pogba's future intensified in the aftermath of Manchester United's 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League opener last night.

The reason behind this is none other than Pogba himself. The French midfielder, who captained and scored in the match, said this on his social media channels: "I’ll always give my best to the fans and my teammates no matter what’s going on." It was ended with the hashtag "PogFeelings" which suggests that all is not well at the moment.

With his open to interpretation message, Manchester United fans replied and asked if this meant he wasn't happy at the club and wanted to leave.

While some people suggested that Pogba's message was aimed at Jose Mourinho, a man he has a strained relationship with, others have suggested it might be because he wasn't allowed to join Barcelona or Juventus this summer.

Mourinho, who has continously complained about the lack of new signings at Old Trafford, said Pogba "is happy, proud and ready to work" at Manchester United. This was backed up by the fact Pogba was made captain for the match last night.
