Pedri González confirms his availability for the pre-season in the United States
The Barça midfielder has been racing against the clock to be fit for the pre-season
Another piece of good news for Xavi and Barça. Pedri González has confirmed that he will be fit to start the pre-season with Barça and will therefore be able to play against Juventus on 22nd July in the United States.
The player from the Canary Islands has confirmed this on an app that players use to communicate easily with fans. The app is called TheResidncy and has allowed Pedri to reveal that he will be ready to play from the first moment.
He was questioned by a fan if he would be ready to play against Juventus in the first game in California. To which Pedri responded with "In principle, no problem".
Barça's preseason starts on 10th July at the Ciudad Deportiva. A week later, the squad will travel to the United States to play four friendlies against Milan, Real Madrid, Juventus and Arsenal.
The first of these will be against Juventus on 22nd July at 4.30 hours CEST. The match could see the debut of the new signings and an opportunity for fringe players to convince Xavi.
