He has played 58 percent of the minutes available to him

According to the report by Esteve Calzada (PrimeTime Sport), Paulinho has been more useful for Barcelona than a lot of the other big signings this summer in La Liga. He was brought in from Guangzhou Evergrande for 40m euros this summer and done well for Ernesto Valverde's league leaders.

In a chart of how much the top 10 most expensive signings from last summer have been used, the Brazilian is top, playing 58% of the minutes available. He is followed by Sevilla's Luis Muriel, 51%.

Nelson Semedo is on 36%, ahead of Villarreal's Enes Unal 33%, while Theo Hernandez is on 18% for Real Madrid, Emre Mor on 14%, the same as Ruben Semedo, Dani Ceballos on 11% and Ousmane Dembele on 8%.

It's a surprising fact that eight of the 10 most expensive signings last summer have played less than 40% of the minutes available.
