Paris Saint-Germain have set Neymar's transfer price tag with Barça hoping for a reunion

Neymar and Paris Saint-Germain seem to agree that their paths must part this summer. The Brazilian landed in the French capital in the summer of 2017, having paid Barça €222m, his release clause. Six seasons later, the winger could be embarking on a new footballing stage, with the Blaugrana club on the horizon.
AS reported that PSG told Neymar in June that they would not sell him for less than 150 million euros. They were willing to accept a loan with a mandatory purchase in 2024 to save part of his significant salary - the second highest in the squad.
This season, the Parc des Princes' accounts are not threatened by Financial Fair Play, but from next season, when the new regulations come into force, the club will need liquidity and one of the assets that could bring in the most money is Neymar.
Barça are studying the options to bring the Brazilian back to the Catalan capital, after mediation with Saudi Arabia. It would be a marquee signing for the Barça brand given the particularly complicated year due to the move to Montjuïc. This, however, would have to be a loan deal after which the player would have to move to Saudi. The wheels have been set in motion.
