Pablo Torre’s photo that some Barca fans don’t like
It is one of the most talked about images on social media in recent hours and features three Barça players, Eric Garcia, Ferran Torres and Pablo Torre, although it is the latter who has been the focus of criticism from some fans.
The photograph shows the three players relaxing after the end of the first-team's season. The three friends pose at the entrance to one of Ibiza's trendiest clubs, the Ushuvaïa club, happy and in good spirits after a season in which the team have won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.
So far so perfect... except for one detail. The image was shared by Pablo Torre on his Instagram account ten minutes after Barça Atlètic were eliminated from the play-offs for promotion to the second division. After losing 3-0 to Real Madrid Castilla, in the last minute and with a penalty that raised a lot of controversy.
It is clear that with the defeat, some of the possible future plans of the Blaugrana vanished, as strategically it is very important to have the reserve team in the second division.
Pablo Torre has been integrated into the discipline of the first team under Rafa Márquez, but he is a reserve team player and has even played in three Barça Atlètic matches this season. This is not the case with Eric García and Ferran Torres, clearly in the first team.
So, many fans showed their anger on social networks because at the same time that his teammates were playing for the future of the team, he appeared relaxed and smiling, apparently oblivious to what happened at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium a few minutes earlier.
