The Brazilian international is demanding the club pay his renewal bonus

Barça announced on Tuesday that they were suing Neymar for a breach of contract

Neymar has returned the ball to Barcelona's court. The Brazilian has made a complaint to FIFA requesting that the Catalan club pay his renewal bonus, according to AFP.

The Brazilian's decision comes after the club announced they were suing him for a breach of contract, requesting the repayment of part of the renewal bonus, 8.5 million euros in damages and 10 percent in arrears.

Barça also claimed that PSG should pay the amounts if the player was unable to do so.

Neymar's complaint "is being looked at" a FIFA spokesman told the AFP without revealing anything else.

Barça paid Neymar a bonus when he signed a renewal last October and were due to pay him another 26 million euros as part of the same bonus this summer.

However, the club confirmed they would not be paying as the way he left the club breached the terms of the agreement.

Then, earlier this week, they made a claim against Neymar for the first part of the renewal bonus, too.
