Nagelsmann wants Koeman's assistant Schreuder to join him at Bayern

The two previously worked together when Nagelsmann was Hoffenheim coach

According to ESPN, Julian Nagelsmann, who will take over as Bayern Munich coach next season, would like Alfred Schreuder, Ronald Koeman's No.2, to join him in Bavaria.

The young coach wants to add the experience of the Barça assistant coach to his backroom staff. The two know each other well having already worked together at Hoffenheim.

However, Schreuder has another year to run on his contract at Barça, like Koeman, so Bayern would have to come up with a compensation package if they wanted the Dutchman.

Schreuder is highly thought of by Koeman, who has praised him repeatedly in recent weeks. In fact, Schreuder even stepped in for Koeman last week against Valencia with the Barça coach serving a touchline ban.
