Memphis Depay: Barca in January? We will see
The Lyon forward did not get his dream move this summer but it could yet come to fruition
Olympique Lyon forward Memphis Depay left the door open to moving to Barcelona in January, but also other sides.
In an interview with AD, the Dutch newspaper, he said that he was sad that his move to Camp Nou didn't come off in the summer window, but with his contract up in June 2021, he could yet move this winter.
Depay is focusing on Lyon for now and trying to give his best performance, as with Holland too.
"We will see," said Depay when asked about a future Barca move. "Soon we'll be in January. We'll have to wait and see how things are. It's not that I'm definitely going, but it's likely there will be clubs in for me soon."

CLUBS NOT CLUB
Asked why he said clubs and not 'club', and if he had other offers, Depay added: "I'm 26 and almost free, so you can expect clubs to be interested in me, no?"
Barca would have been able to sign Depay if they could have got Ousmane Dembele out to Man United, but it fell through as the Frenchman did not want to leave.
Depay had his bags packed for Barca. "Everything was done to be honest, some rules stopped it being finalised," explained Depay. "I was waiting for the green light, but I kept training. It's not like I had the phone in my shorts on the training pitch, hahaha."
