The Premier League club want a No.9 in the summer

Manchester United are likely to be coached by Mauricio Pochettino next season. Ralf Rangick is the interim coach until the summer, when he will take on a background role. The English club believe Paris Saint-Germain will let Pochettino leave because they want Zinedine Zidane on the bench.

United are planning for next season, when they will lose Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan, who is out of contract, will leave Old Trafford and be back on the market. Just as he was briefly leading up to January, before United to decided to keep him for a few more months.

As they have the financial power, United are looking for a young striker and Erling Haaland fits perfectly. In addition, they're already well drilled in dealing with Borussia Dortmund -- after signing Jadon Sancho for €85 million last summer -- and Mino Raiola, as they have another of his clients, Paul Pogba, at the club.

Now they could repeat those operations by turning to Haaland to help take them back to the top.
