Ernesto Valverde could be about to see another major outgoing from his squad this summer, although it isn't an unexpected one. Malcom, the Brazilian winger, is on the verge on signing for Zenit Saint Petersburg in a deal worth up to €45m.
Barça's squad has trained this Thursday morning as they prepare for the Joan Gamper Trophy match followed by the mini-tour of the United States.
All the first-team squad members were out there working with Valverde except for Malcom. He's been given permission by the club to finalise his transfer to the Russian club.
At just 22 years of age, Malcom will hope he can reignite his career with Zenit after struggling to gain sufficient opportunities with Barcelona. He only managed the full 90 minutes on three occasions last season.
