He's joined by Robert Lewandowski, Bayern, and Romelu Lukaku, Inter, in attack

As you may have already guessed, Lionel Messi was named in UEFA's latest 'Team of the Week'. For the fifth round of fixtures, the FC Barcelona forward was recognised for his crucial role in his side's victory over Borussia Dortmund. Messi scored one and assisted another two to end the German team's hopes of taking anything away from their trip to the Camp Nou.

However, Messi is the only representative from Barça in the team. He's joined in attack by Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski (scored four this week) and Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku (scored one).

The rest of the team is as follows: Mikhail Kerzhakov (Zenit); Serge Aurier (Tottenham), Dejan Lovren (Liverpool), Lars Bender (Leverkusen); Enoc Mwepu (Red Bull Salzburg), Emil Forsberg (RB Leipzig) Corentin Tolisso (Bayern) and Hakim Ziyech (Ajax).
