Koeman: I don't like speaking about the double, things change quickly

The Barcelona coach is insisting on taking things game by game as Barça hit form

Ronald Koeman warned against getting carried away as Barcelona look to extend their good run of form against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

The game at Anoeta is a big one just before the international break and will come with Barça already knowing how their title rivals, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have done.

In recent weeks, Barça have cut the gap on Atletico to four points and moved two clear of Real Madrid. With a Copa del Rey final to come, talk has even turned to a potential double.

"I don't like to talk about a double, this can quickly change," Koeman said in a press conference on Saturday. "Before we were 'bad'... so we have to keep working hard game by game."

The Dutch coach added: "We're four points behind, we have a really difficult schedule. There's a long way to go to win things. It is not the moment to think about the double. The team has to focus game by game. That's the best way to win things."

On the team's improvement, Koeman doesn't want it to stop here: "There's always room to improve things. We have won a lot of points in recent games and our form means we can aspire to something, but now we have to keep going."
