Juventus enter the push for Nelson Semedo
Tuttosport say Juve are after the Barcelona defender who wants out
Nelson Semedo is not just of interest to Atletico Madrid. Juventus, per TuttoSport, are also evaluating the possibility of signing him to replace Joao Cancelo, who may move to Manchester City.
The Italian publication say Juve have four options for right-back if Cancelo leaves, along with Danilo, of Man City, Kieran Trippier, of Tottenham and Napoli’s Hysaj.
The club who has shown the most interest in Semedo to this point is Atletico. Diego Simeone wants him to replace the departing Juanfran, but now Juve are interested.
Semedo, despite entering into Valverde’s plans, has told Barcelona he would like to leave - looking to become an undisputed starter somewhere else.
Semedo’s clause is 100m euros. Barcelona paid 30m for him and would let him go for at least 50m.
