Jordi Cruyff bids farewell to Barça: "I feel that the time has come..."
He wants to "embark on new professional projects from 30 June"
FC Barcelona sporting director Jordi Cruyff has said goodbye on his personal Twitter profile: After two seasons at Barcelona, I feel that the time has come to end this chapter."

As one of the important and trusted men of the club's president, Joan Laporta, he acknowledged that he wants to "embark on new professional projects from 30 June."

He added: "Before doing so, I want to express my sincere thanks to president Laporta and the board of directors, my colleagues in the sporting commission, Xavi and the coaching staff, the squad and all of the club’s employees."
Both Cruyff and Mateu Alemany, director of football, will leave the club next month and Barça are expected to announce the replacements in the coming weeks ahead of the 2023/24 season.
He did not forget all the Barça fans either: "Thank you also to the whole Barcelona family for making my time at what is, and will always be, my home an enjoyable one."
