Joao Cancelo: Playing at Barca is a dream but if I don't play well, they'll get rid of me

Joao Cancelo was honest in his analysis of Barça's comeback against Celta (3-2). The Portuguese full-back acknowledged his poor game, but stressed the importance of having taken three points from a game in which they were not up to the task and in which Celta led 0-2.

"Personally I was having a very bad game. Technically I was making a lot of mistakes," began Cancelo, who praised the team's ability to overcome and himself, who played a key role in the comeback with an assist for Robert Lewandowski and the winning goal: "We have to stay focused until the end. It's important to win by playing badly, but we have to improve".

The Portuguese full-back insisted on his bad game: "I was lost in my head and I made a lot of technical errors, which is not normal in my game, because I made a lot of bad passes, but it's better to play badly and win than to play well and lose". The Portuguese went even further, linking his future as a Blaugrana to his performance: "If I perform, the club will want me. If I don't perform, they will get rid of me.

Even so, Cancelo acknowledged that his goal is to stay at Barça: "Playing for the club is a dream and scoring this goal is very important, but I'm not leaving with a good feeling".

Cancelo also insisted on the team's ability to react and the importance of having picked up three points that put the Blaugrana side provisional leaders, with the same points as Girona: "Celta played very tight, making the game difficult, but we were patient. The most important thing was the three points and we now have 16."
