Inter want to sign Franck Kessie next week

| sport

Inter Milan are going to make a bid for Franck Kessié next week when they will start to implement their planning. The Italian club asked to speak after the Champions League final, although their plan is to propose an exchange because of the impossibility of taking on a transfer of more than 30 million euros.

The Italian club wants to reinforce its midfield after its successful season which saw them finish Champions League runners up to Man City. With Barça there have already been several summits to sound out the arrival of Kessié, but the two clubs no longer have time for more and in the next few days everything must be decided, for better or worse.

Inter know that they will not be able to compete if an economic transfer proposal from the Premier League arrives, but they are counting on the player's willingness to return to Italy. Kessié, for now, has told Barça that he wants to stay, but the club has told him that he will not have minutes so he could be open to finding a solution -- and this could be Inter.

Barça would prioritise a sale, but everything is in the hands of the player and the understanding with Inter is complicated by the difficulty of an exchange. The Italians have even proposed Correa and Dumfries, but these players do not fit in at Barça. Another thing would be if they offered Brozovic. He is a midfielder who is liked and the club followed his Champions League final performance closely, and he did not disappoint. He was one of the best in the match and showed his personality in midfield. We will have to see if an agreement can be reached.
