Lucho will leave Barcelona at the end of the season when his contract expires

The Italian club are also keen on bringing in Sevilla's sporting director Monchi

Roma are thinking about the possibility of making a move to bring Luis Enrique back next season, if Luciano Spalletti does not continue on the bench.

'Il Messaggero' report that the club's owner, James Pallotta, wants to brild a winning project and for that reason wants to bring in Lucho, who was the club's manager during the 2011/12 season.

The Italian side are looking at a number of managers, but Luis Enrique's success with Barcelona, his international prestige and the fact he knows the club count in his favour.

However, the reports aff that it will be difficult to convince him because of how it ended last time, while Luis Enrique has still not revealed if he will take some time off or if he is looking for a new job when he leaves Camp Nou.

Roma are also in talks to bring in Monchi as sporting director. He's told Sevilla he'd like to leave but the La Liga club are not ready to let him go -- if he does move to the Serie A side, it could be a clincher for Luis Enrique.
