Pique scored in Barcelona's 4-1 win over the Italian side at Camp Nou
Gerard Pique spoke to the media after the 4-1 Champions League win over Roma on Wednesday, in which he scored Barca's third goal.
He says: "We had a good game. Maybe we could have been better but we take a good lead to Roma. It's Roma, a quarter-final. Many said it was easy and they showed up for themselves against us. It's true they were more defensive than we expected but they played good football."
Pique said it's not lucky that Barcelona benefitted from two own goals.
"It’s not just luck that we get own goals in our favour," he added. "Things happen for a reason. I think that if these goals go our way it’s because we press high, we push up in attack - the ball is in the opposition area more than usual in other teams’ matches."
