Ferran Torres: I'm going to make the most of every minute I have

The Barça forward scored the only goal of the game in Porto on Wednesday

Ferran Torres was the hero of Barcelona's 1-0 win at Porto, coming off the bench to score the winner. The player from Foios came on in place of Robert Lewandowski, who withdrew with an injury in the 34th minute.

The forward made the most of his chance, converting Ilkay Gündogan's through ball in first half stoppage time.

"It's very tough to play for Barça and I'm going to make the most of every minute I have," he said in a declaration of intent.

Not in vain, he is the second top scorer for the Blaugrana at the start of the new season, surpassed only by Lewandowski.

Ferran also valued the victory at Do Dragao, perhaps not as brilliant as Barça would have liked, but key to the outcome of Group H.

"Before the game we had talked about the fact that more than half of the qualification was dependent on winning on this pitch," he added.

"It was a win that we had to get. We showed that we are good on the ball, but that we can also suffer without it."

The Blaugrana attacker said that Barça took advantage of an error by Porto to seal the win: "Football is also about taking advantage of the opposition's mistakes. We didn't know how to counter their pressure, but the important thing was the victory."
