Esporte Interativo: Crucial meeting in Barcelona over Neymar transfer
The player's father will be in Barcelona tomorrow, alongside his lawyer, to meet with Barça's South American director André Cury
Neymar Junior's father, Neymar Santos, will be in Barcelona alongside his lawyer on Tuesday. They'll meet with Andre Cury who in charge of football operations in South America for Barça. This is according to 'Esporte Interactivo' journalist Marcelo Bechler.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday with the objective being to accelerate a return to the Camp Nou for Neymar. The player's representatives are confident this could finally push the transfer towards completion.
In this meeting, they will also discuss PSG's position on the matter. They are open to transfer and previous reports suggested a player could be used to bring down the cost.
Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele have all been mentioned as potential makeweights in the transfer.
According to the same information, PSG don't want Coutinho or Dembele as part of the deal. PSG will only sell Neymar if their asking price is met.
The original price was around €300m but sources close to the negotiations suggest Neymar could return a fee less than the €222m PSG paid for him two years ago.
