The coach came in Monday morning to take charge of training after three days off
Ernesto Valverde is currently at Barcelona's training ground. The coach arrived around 8.20am on Monday to take charge of the training session scheduled for 11am.
He seems a powerless figure at the moment and he may be sacked on Monday. The board are working to find a replacement and have already been told no by Xavi and Ronald Koeman.
After a meeting last night, Bartomeu did not sack the coach and he is going to coach the team as normal. Twenty minutes after Valverde his No 2 Jon Aspiazu arrived.
On Monday there will be various meetings and Valverde could end up face to face with Bartomeu. In that meeting the president would explain what has been going on the last few days. There is a board meeting later on.
