Ernesto Valverde: Decaffeinated? The Clasico had a lot of caffeine
The coach spoke after Barca's 2-2 draw with Real Madrid on Sunday night
Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde said the Clasico was far from decaffeinated, despite the result which left both teams with a point.
"Nothing was decaffeinated, it had a lot of caffeine, it was a very intense game. We know how these games are and we all want to win. We started well but with each ball lost of ours, Madrid did us damage," said Valverde.
"The game became complicated with the cards, we were fighting so we didn't feel the absence (of Roberto)."

Valverde higlighted his team's resilience. "We did not renounce going on the attack," said Valverde. "It's clear that we had to work together a lot and in the end we could even have won."
On Sergi Roberto's red he said: "It's strange to me that Sergi would have hit Marcelo, I'll have to see it again on TV."
