Chelsea insist on including Marcos Alonso in the Aubameyang deal
Talks are ongoing with Barcelona and a definitive decision must be reached on Thursday
FC Barcelona and Chelsea are still negotiating a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but are still unable to find a common ground.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea still want Marcos Alonso to be part of the deal but Barça want the two deals to be separate.
More information
Chelsea value Alonso at €8 million while Barça want €30m for Aubameyang, who joined the club for free in January.
If Alonso is part of the deal, Barça would want at least €20m, which is a figure Chelsea are not willing to match.
Meanwhile, the Premier League side have also asked Barcelona for a medical report after Aubameyang suffered a jaw injury during a robbery earlier this week.
He is expected to be out for up to four weeks, which Chelsea do not consider a problem but they want to have all the information.
Talks continue for a player Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has wanted for a while.
