Rafinha doesn't want to return to the club and hopes to stay at Inter

Rafinha, who is on loan at Inter Milan, does not want to return to Barcelona at the end of the current season.

Inter are keen to sign the Brazilian midfielder, according to Italian newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport'. They have been impressed since he arrived in January and will exercise the clause they have which allows them to make the deal permanent.

Meanwhile, Rafinha, who's enjoying life in Milan, is also keen to stay, among other reasons, according to the reports in Italy, because he resents Barça's decision to put him on the market in January as soon as he came back from a long-term injury layoff.

Therefore, Inter look likely to make the deal permanent this summer for 35 million euros, plus a potential three million more in add-ons.

Rafinha's held up physically since moving to Serie A, has not had any injury setbacks and has improved as the weeks have progressed. His coach, Spalletti, is happy and feels he has a lot to add to the side.

Regardless of any decision, though, Inter's agreement with Barça obliges them to sign Rafinha anyway in the case that they qualify for next season's Champions League. They're currently fourth in the table.
